Years ago (and when I say years I mean like 10 or so) I was asked to photograph a wedding. At the time I hadn’t even considered shooting weddings but the request that came through seemed so genuine and sweet I decided to do it. I did their engagement shoot and then the wedding. Fast forward several years and I was asked to photograph their first child (man how I love seeing families grow). Then I moved from Ontario to Alberta. On one of my visits back I photographed their family of three once again. There is nothing better than seeing these families grow. Watching young couples in love become new parents and then seeing how they adapt to family life and then watching their kids grow.

We went back to Ontario for a couple of weeks this summer and I was able to book a few sessions while there. This same family asked me to photograph the now four of them and I was thrilled! It rained right before our session but it cleared just in time. We went for a walk, had some laughs and stayed until dark. Time flew and I so enjoyed my time with them.
